• Types: Light, temperature, sound,pH, humidity, dissolved oxygen etc.

Disadvantages:

1. Some people may not like working on computer system
2. Loss of conventional methods of data collection
3. Reduced practice of graphing skills
4. Increased work load of teachers.
5. Students may not relate science concept to microscopic and symbolic system representation.
