Spreadsheet

A spreadsheet is a computer application that simulates a paper worksheet. It displays multiple cells that together make up a grid consisting of rows and columns, each cell containing either alphanumeric text or numeric values.

A spreadsheet cell may alternatively contain a formula that defines how the contents of that cell is to be calculated from the contents of any other cell (or combination of cells) each time any cell is updated.

Spreadsheets are frequently used for financial information because of their ability to re-calculate the entire sheet automatically after a change to a single cell is made. But, now spreadsheet also can apply in teaching and learning. By using spreadsheet, the experimental data and graph that obtain from the experiment can be recorded.

The advantages of spreadsheet is many samples can be analyzed without manual calculation by inserting the formula. The data will displayed in a systematic manner, saving times in drawing graphs and can be manageable. In addition, the feature are systematically organize according to title on the column. Teachers can apply this spreadsheet in conducting experimental data using more effective ways.

Here, is one of example of spreadsheet that I have learned in class.
